Soy Sauce Marinated Hotaru Ika 160g

In the old days, in order to preserve freshness, fishermen often brought pickling juice with them when they went fishing for squid. After catching squid, they were immediately put into the sauce to pickle, so it was called "washing". After pickling, the small squid can still maintain a sashimi-like taste within a day, and the flavor will be further sublimated after a period of fermentation.

Fluorescent squid come ashore to mate every spring and summer, and their bodies have blue light. At night, there will be a whole piece of fluorescent blue spectacle on the coast. In order to keep fresh, the Japanese often carry the sauce for pickling with them when they go fishing for squid. After catching the squid, they are put to pickle immediately, which is called "washing". After pickling, the squid still maintains a sashimi-like taste, and after a period of fermentation, the flavor is more sublimated. Plump and delicious, with a crispy outer layer, a little salty taste, and a first-class accompaniment to wine.
