TAIWAN PACIFIC SAURY (MACKEREL PIKE) 3PCS/PACK

The saury has a slender body and a silver belly like a samurai sword, hence the name saury. Saury is rich in nutrients, and the meat is oily. The fish is rich in Omega-3 unsaturated fatty acids, protein and vitamin E. It is good for the heart and has antioxidant effects. It is the most representative autumn ingredient in Japanese cuisine. The most common cooking method is to grill the whole fish with salt, and eat it with rice, miso soup, and radish puree.

Approach:
  1. Thaw the frozen saury thoroughly first.
  2. Wash the fish, cut a knife in the belly of the fish, take out the internal organs, and effectively remove the bitterness.
  3. Wash the saury with clean water, do not rinse for too long, or the fish will rot.
  4. Dry the fish body and cook.
